On Wednesday – June 19, 2019, a Grow with Google event was hosted at the Carson City Library. Community members were invited to attend free workshops focused on reaching customers and promoting businesses online as well as tips for job searching. One-on-one coaching was also available throughout the day. Google has partnered with the American Library Association (ALA) to offer free Grow with Google workshops in all 50 states this year.
