The Carson City Library has begun recruitment for a new Library Director. Under direction of the Library Board of Trustees, this position provides leadership for the full scope of services provided by the community Library and the Special Library Services program for Economic Development at the Adams Hub for Innovation and provides advice and counsel and develops strategy to enhance organizational effectiveness and the sustainability of the Library and the Special Library Services program for Economic Development.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited program; AND five (5) years of executive management experience in a public library environment; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources.
