Phyllis Patton
Chairperson

Trustee Phyllis Patton, a former tax preparer, is Chair of the Carson City Library Board of Trustees. She moved to Carson City in 1997 and was appointed to the Board in 2004. Mrs. Patton has been involved with the Library Foundation's Oktoberfest since 2000.

Robert (Bob) Kennedy

 Trustee Robert (Bob) Kennedy owned and operated Kennedy's Books and is now retired. He moved to Carson City in 1978. Mr. Kennedy was appointed to the Carson City Library Board of Trustees in January, 2006.

 Sandy Foley
Vice-Chairperson

Sandy Foley has lived in Carson City for 33 years. Formerly she worked as a reading and English teacher at Carson Middle School; and currently she is the librarian there. Mrs. Foley was appointed to the Carson City Library Board of Trustees in September of 2007.

Maxine Nietz

Trustee Maxine Nietz is a computer consultant and event coordinator.  She hails from the Big Apple but has lived in Carson City since 1989.  Mrs. Nietz was appointed to the Carson City Library Board of Trustees in September, 2006.  

Drew Simmons

Drew Simmons is a lifelong public library supporter and patron who admires the vast services provided by these important community institutions. She relocated to Carson City, Nevada in June 2006, is the Marketing Director/Office Manager for Marilyn Lewis State Farm. Ms Simmons was appointed to the Library Board of Trutess on November 5, 2009.
